Winston and Judy Sullivan moved to Cass County in 1971 settling in the county seat Linden, Texas. After creating the start-up Sullivan Builders, Inc. Sullivan saw the need and market to provide housing in rural East Texas. Sullivan Builders and Design Group first began designing and constructing single-family homes throughout the area as programs were developed. As Congress developed new programs to provide housing across the rural United States Sullivan saw an opportunity for a new window of business. Throughout the 1980s and early 1990s Sullivan Builders constructed senior citizen and multi-family housing all across Northeast Texas, West Texas, and the panhandle. With the expansion of construction and development the business began to prosper.
MJS Management operates a large number of properties with the help and dedication of our hardworking managers. MJS managed properties have site maintenance, local service contractors and provide residents with 24 hour maintenance emergency call service. Our main focus is to make all of our communities feel like home, providing a warm and welcoming environment to all of our residents.
Marlon and Jina began MJS Management in 1994 to oversee management and operations of all the properties constructed by Sullivan Builders. Now serving as co-owners of the company they have seen the business grow to the management of over 900 units across the state of Texas.
Our company consist of a large diverse team that spans over the state of Texas. Our employees range from managers and maintenance divisions at each individual property, to our team that helps our corporate office function daily.
